Dear MCQ members:
Don’t miss “Talking Threads,” an exhibition featuring the art of Truly Unruly, a small group of MCQ. The exhibit runs February 16 through March 26 at Landmark Center in downtown St. Paul, with an opening reception on Thursday, February 16, 5-7 p.m.
Truly Unruly was formed 10 years ago and its members continually experiment with techniques to create fiber art. Dyeing, monoprinting, screenprinting, painting and improvisational piecing have all been used to create imaginative art pieces that are full of color, emotion and energy.
The artists include MCQ members Nancy Birger, Debbie Boyles, Edith Dalleska, Peg Lindberg, Carol Mashuga, Sally Neckvatal, Suzanne O’Brien, Barb Otto and Mimie Pollard.
The exhibit is free to the public and open during regular building hours. Please stop by!
